Keene W. BartleyKeene W. Bartley ( a partner in this firm and has been practicing with the firm since 1982. Mr. Bartley received a B.A. from David Lipscomb College in 1979 and a J.D. from Memphis State University in 1982. His areas of practice include civil litigation with an emphasis in the areas of construction law, general business transactions, commercial real estate transactions, commercial leasing and management issues, and bankruptcy. Mr. Bartley has been certified as a 504 closing attorney by the United States Small Business Administration. He has regularly engaged in litigation and arbitration throughout the southeastern United States. Mr. Bartley also serves as an arbitrator for others. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Building Owners and Managers Association for the last few years serving as an instructor in its RPA program teaching the legal and business management courses. He is a member of the Nashville, Tennessee and American Bar Associations, where he has served as a member of the Ethics and Unauthorized Practices Committee of the Nashville Bar Association, and Chairman of the Subcommittee on Certification of Specialists. He is a member of the ABA forum on the construction industry, and the litigation section. He has taught courses on construction contract law and leasing of premises.
